Your role and responsibilities
- Lead, support and engage the Sales Team through regular communication, including team meetings and one-to-one discussions
- Develop and strengthen the capabilities and talents within the team
- Build a strong pipeline of business opportunities together with the team and ensure effective conversion into sales
- Work closely with Customer Service, Field Technical Service, Marketing, R&D and Operations to deliver an excellent customer experience and drive segment growth
- Define sales objectives by forecasting and setting annual sales targets for regions and territories, while projecting sales volume and profitability for existing and new products
- Implement sales programs and field sales action plans to achieve business goals
- Monitor market developments and proactively adjust sales volumes, product mix and pricing in line with market requirements, supply and demand, industry trends, economic indicators and competitive activity
- Support and sponsor investment and continuous improvement initiatives at the production sites supplying the relevant product portfolio
Your profile and qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Several years of sales leadership experience with a strong track record of delivering results
- Experience in B2B sales of technically complex products; experience in the plastics, film or related industry is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships
- Solid understanding of sales strategy, forecasting and pipeline management
- Analytical mindset and confident handling of CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
- Business fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage
